We pay great attention when it come to selecting staff. We have committed teachers who are employed to teach. In addition to that we also have a classroom assistant who starts work an hour before the lessons start. As part of the training we give, we also provide free lunch for children who live away from the local school. These children come to the centre for lunch and our classroom assistant supervises not only lunch time activities but all other activities such as the use of our library and other educational board games.
To manage the centre, we have employed a suitably qualified registrar who is responsible for checking the lesson plans and keeping records of all teaching and assessments of children, to ensure effective training. As part of the school management, she collected essays from the children and compiled our anniversary handbook which contains 250 pages. This book is available for sale.
We rely on the good will donations from all good people to help others who for many reasons are less fortunate.

Why do we do this?
Can we make a difference?
One day a man was walking along the beach, when he noticed a boy hurriedly picking up and gently throwing things into the ocean.
Approaching the boy, he asked, “Young man, what are you doing?”
The boy replied, “Throwing starfish back into the ocean. The surf is up and the tide is going out. If I don’t throw them back, they’ll die.”
The man laughed to himself and said, “Don’t you realize there are miles and miles of beach and hundreds of starfish? You can’t make any difference!”
After listening politely, the boy bent down, picked up another starfish, and threw it into the surf. Then, smiling at the man, he said …
“I made a difference to that one.”
